HAIR COLORING

Semi-permanent hair color

Semi permanent hair coloring formulated to deposit color on the hair shaft without lightening it. This formula has smaller molecules than those of temporary tinting formulas, and is therefore able to penetrate the hair shaft. Has no developer, may be used with heat for penetration. It also lasts longer than temporary hair color, keeping intact up to 8-14 shampoos.

Special hair dye preparations are made for coloring gray hair. They can be used to add highlights too. They do not contain a single dye but mixtures of red, yellow, blue, and orange dyes in various proportions. The dyes have small molecules, which means they can pass through the cuticle into the cortex easily, and without damaging the scales of the cuticle. Since they can enter the hair shaft easily, they can also be washed out relatively
easily.

Semi-permanent hair color fade more easily than permanent hair dyes, they need more effort towards maintaining their life and shine so they would last a lot longer. Most women who go for semi-permanent hair color do this maintenance work by visiting their hairstylists on a weekly basis.
